Allison potential of Rita growing rapidly

#1 Postby HouTXmetro » Fri Sep 23, 2005 6:58 am

Most models are beginning to stall Rita north of houston and push her south. I'm speechless.

GFDL which was a big looper, just updated and has it stalling near TX/AK. Hopefully that verifies.

GFS is showing long stall over central LA, reversal south into the GOM again, then moving SW, coming ashore again near TX-MEX border, and basically stalling and dissipating over northern MEX.

Also shows another tropical system entering the GOM between S FL and Cuba next week...

I think JB sometimes wants to see the destruction of a major city. Any one ever noticed that....
