That specific "1" means that the dewpoint is suspect. Each "0" or "1" stands for something different.

I got looking in the strongest so far before this one was 161 knots...This one shows up to 165 knots. So recon has its strongest report so far.

looking back, i suppose that is just a very small eye. I would (based on the last sat we had) to expect a bigger eye then that though.

maybe a wnw movement...if that thing is somehwhat close to being accurate...(with the 14kt) and look how the plane symbol is...

It's funny how the recon thread has become the hangout thread. Not that I'm complaining, I think it pretty much sums this place up nicely. Bunch of hurricane addicts eagerly awaiting the next morsel of information.
