Galveston broke a record today. High of 96. Hasn't been that hot there since the 1950s and not to mention we have the 5th strongest storm on record out there right now with a 904mb pressure.

Thats incredible. Today up here where I live we hit 99 degrees.Seeems surreal to think a hurricane will change things dramatically in a few days

We are expecting 95 all the way up in Missouri tomorrow due to break a record by 4 degrees I believe. If hot air fed hurricanes we would all be in trouble!

When I got home at 4:00, my weather forecast software showed 104 degrees and humidity of 30%.

WAY too hot and WAY too dry. You can tell that something is brewing somewhere...
