A seven-month-old baby boy in Vietnam has survived a delicate operation conducted by four surgeons on Monday to remove a nearly fully-developed fetus from his abdomen, reports News24.com.

That is downright weird. You are almost left speechless.....then I remembered about a relative who was expecting twins. They both were visible on an early sonogram. A later sonogram revealed only one baby and she did deliver just one baby. It was explained that sometimes early on, one baby can be absorbed by the amniotic fluid. Never heard of one baby ingesting the other baby though.....this is sort of a Ripley's Believe or Not story.

Too creepy for me.

Anyone ever had a pilenidal cyst?

Both my Dad and I have had one when our family lived in OH...I was told that it's like having a "twin"...except near your tailbone. :eek:

yeah...that's what really is surprising....so i would tell my grandkids that i was once pregnant at 7 months even though i am now a man!

talk about that child having gender role problems!
