Most folks *THINK* Arizona is ALL desert, I've been told MANY times when I tell someone that it SNOWS in AZ that I'm NUTZ!! So...here I am, a snowman in Arizona!

When I was three, my aunt nicknamed me Cookielinda (pretty cookie in Spanish). It got shortened to Cookiely for many years and then the family shortened it again to Cookie. The last few years they shortened it for the last time to Cook.

Wow I went back to the first page and saw my name and my response. I was bewildered. Then I realized I posted the exact same thing at almost the exact same time last year.

Weird.

It's my email address, I was born in 1991, I am a man who likes weather. And I created my email address when my class was doing a unit on Horace Mann and we were doing a project on it. Thus the extra n. LOL.

Now here's a question for the admin/mods/first members: when this forum was created, why was it called "Storm2k"?

I may be corrected on this, but STORM2K came form the onl Storm97, etc. that was used at GoPBI boards where many of us originated. The 2k of course is basically a reference to the 21st century.

Kevin - this is why when I almost replied today in 2005 I thought, I'd better see if this was an old topic. Afterall it has 4 pages already.....so I could have posted the same thing twice too!

However, I have two questions....

1. We never did learn why Linda is a loo!

2. How GrimReaper got her nic!

Was going to name my daughter zoey, but noone else liked the name. I did not want my daughter stuck with a name that her family would tease. When I got on the internet originally I decided to use the name because I still liked it, but it was taken so I added my middle name and viola!

I grew up in Chicago. On one of our first dates, my husband took me out for pizza where he got hit on by the waiter the entire time. Every time my husband's drink would slip to 9/10ths of the way full, this guy was filling his drink and trying to flirt with him while ignoring that my glass was empty. By the second time he and I asked for my refill, we both gave up trying and just just shared his drink. It was so frustrating that it was actually comical!! Every time I think about it, I smile. Hence, the name, chicagopizza. :)

My legal name is Andrew, and the storm named after me was famous in 1992. If not for that storm, I would have likely had the number 84 in my screen name, as I was actually born in 1984.

Maybe it's from the Lynyrd Skynyrd song "Gimme Three Steps?" :)

Down at a place called The Jug
With a girl named Lindaloo"
