I've seen that same pic in the past somewhere...thought it was questionable on whether or not it may possibly be "doctored"?

Well, maybe someone can come up with another picture of a larger or fatter cat.

I searched the web for fat cats, and this is the biggest cat I found. I am sure he is real.

Wow, those are really fat cats. Thanks. I tried to make my picture bigger, but it just got blurry.

Janice,

I remember seeing the pic you posted...someone else posted at S2K in the past...and I thought there was a ? about it being actually that big. I know Duckie (Shawn) is known for her getting on the Snopes site to finding out if things are legit or not...so sorry for questioning your pic.

My folks and I have some good friends elsewhere in NC and they have a daughter in VA who had a big fat cat named C(h)ubby...the cat passed away a few years ago. To this day we kinda wonder if it was due to age...and/or poor health from obesity...

Wow, thanks for sharing that information. When I saw the pic, it was just among other fat cats. But thanks for the other pictures of fat cats. Yes, it is very abusive to let pets get this big. Thanks Galveston. That is good reading material too.

Our Vet scolded me several years ago for letting our dog gain a few pounds over the winter. It was icy out and I couldn't take her on her usual walks. His lecture did get thru to me, saying we were really doing her a disservice to feed her as much as we were. He said to cut back on her food intake, buy biscuits for small dogs, even though she's a Golden, she'll think it's still a treat. I also read on a Golden message board to add drained, no-salt added green beans to their food. The GB's, as we call them, fill them up, with little added calories. She thinks she's getting people food, which she is. But the bottom line is he got thru to me. So on icy days, or really rainy ones, we have her chase a flashlight beam. It gets her going and is almost as good as a walk. No more napping all day.....that cat on the child's lap, oh my, that breaks my heart. No excuse for that. You can get cats moving with just a simple ball of yarn.

Do you know if this one is real? I just came across both this one and the original one posted by janice while my daughter was looking for a cat photo last night for school. I didn't think the white cat looked real, but this one looks more convincing.

Thanks, yes it is big. With the internet, it is hard to know what is real or not anymore. Yes, I saw that cat too. Thanks

That cat is not really fat, but it is definately big. I would just love to have him.
I would spoil him rotten.
