With prices starting to drop a few pennies a day now
I think once it hits $2.50 a gallon, IF it drops this low, that that'll be it.....the oil companies KNOW that we'll pay any price at any cost. BTW.....the casino is now down to $2.89 for the cheap stuff while the masked bandits here in town are STILL @ $3.09

I said no, but I disagree with the reason posted. Remember, the oil companies are paying for the oil they extract. They pay OPEC for Middle East and Venezuelan Oil, they pay the Texas Railroad COmmission for US oil, and they pay Canada and Mexico individually for their oil. The oil companies don't have as much control over the pricing of oil as many here seem to think they do.

I just heard today that the IRS is allowing something like $0.40 per mile now.
When ever we have to use our own vehicles for the PD (traveling to trainings etc) they are paying .42 a mile, that's up .10 in 5 weeks!
