I believe it was the 5 a.m. TCD that mentioned a easterly component in the long run (beyond Day 5), since a blocking high will be to the north, preventing a northeast track, so, per the local forecast discussion, forecasters seem more confident now on a easterly track in the near and long term - perhaps following Nate's current track.

What's so useless about that post - explain what you mean so newcomers won't think I'm being foolish.
The local discussion is hopeful for an easterly component, and I agree - this season has been long enough already, without the -removed- I read here and from AccuWeather.
Even TWC has held to this eventual easterly track - enough people are suffering already, and it still chills me to think that upwards of 20,000 fatalities are only several hundred miles to the northwest of South Florida.

OK you told all of us Katrina was being picked up by a trough east of the islands then it was headed east off Miami ..What happen? It turned into the 2nd biggest natrual disaster in modern history...Untill i see this storm racing 22 MPH after Nate to the E...The east Scenario is not Pausable...
