Personally, I would not be shocked if it ended up near the Carolinas at all.
Just don't think it will hit the NE Fla, Ga coast. Seems to me that these areas have some kind of "immunity shield"!!!

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL FORECAST BASED ON ANYTHING BESIDES GUT FEELING!!!

Titan which is a computer model ABC channel 11 uses says the storm will move off to the NE and not effect land. Dennis phillips said we need to see a trend develop but a side note, titan nailed all the storms this year so far and even predicted Katrinas sw movement...early on

for one run, I think it did. Titan has been slowly trending east. Time will tell.

I think it will get slowly shoved out to sea, but then the ridge will quickly build in and shove it south and southwest, creating a full loop as it heads north and west up the EC through the Carolinas and further to the north. Then a trough finally comes in and erodes the ridge, by that time it will be near new england and finally turn north then east while it's in New England, it will become extra-tropical and finally dissipate.

We along the Texas coast feel the same way about our coastline...We figure it will either turn left or right at the last minute and it usually does!!

That is probably the most accurate forecast yet..A plain "we don't know" is all they can really say at this point..
