Where's she gonna come onshore..?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I don't agree with the NHC's track! the GFDL was right about Katrina! I would have to go with the GFDL on this one!

I'm not sure this will make to the GOM, the last time I looked the GFDL had it crossing Florida and going into the GOM, is that still right?

Tracy.. I hate to sound like a broken record but I've lent her way too much lol..

Anyway.. I'm still saying Volusia County.. though Brevard County wouldn't surprise me..

A little more north, with no Gulf of Mexico entry.

I have the same number of clues, but I think you're about right. Maybe a little south. GFDL seems to have been the most accurate predictor this season, although a bit west biased. NHC has been falling in line with the gfdl once the remaining models come closer together instead of always splitting the difference with the gfdl & ukmet.

I remember last year.. The nursing home my mom was in.. was actually placing bets on where frances would come on shore..

I almost wish we could do something like that at Wal Mart.. but I don't think the store boss would like that lol

I use to live off of 210, right off 95 in North Florida for many years. I am rather familiar with that area.

Drifting NORTH. To make landfall in Daytona---Jax, it would have to head due West right away---unlikely. I am thinking South Carolina, not Florida, like the out to sea models.
