It's definitely another strong wave with a vigorous low. I mentioned this system earlier today, but I won't commit on any strengthening until it persists over water for 24 hours. These systems have not developed in the far E. Atlantic so far this year. We'll just have to see what occurs. It is at a rather low latitude (near 10N), so that will help it...

I agree that the exiting wave looks impressive. As to the issue with the fizzling of the other waves, if the culprit is the inverted T.s into the tropics and the SAL, then at least as to the first, the shear forecast maps seem to indicate the big one now at 50W is going to be lifting out. I am not sure what happens closer to that wave though.
