I apologize... I believe that the comment was in association with the possibilty of 94L moving into the GOM and this convection in the BOC developing, too.

I just got back from Galveston this morning after staying in a canal home on the west end for 3 days. Around 5 this morning we had a pretty bad thundestorm roll through Jamaica Beach and our electricity went out till 9 this morning. Two more storms rolled through after this. Also, the tide was way up coming over the bulk heads. After looking at radar, there is alot of instability out in the gulf right now.

Well, the convection remains and the BOC and GOM look pretty dicey this afternoon. Anyone agree?

I agree. Theres seems to be some circulation....or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.

ULL is entraining the trop. wave to its south. Dev, if any, will be slow. It will prob be onshore before anything happens.
