The Hurricane Watch: Public Hurricane Education

#1 Postby JamesFromMaine2 » Mon Sep 05, 2005 1:07 am

In light of Hurricane Katrina and the many deaths she caused by uneducated people thinking they could survive her I feel that we must educate the public as much as we can on the danagers of Hurricanes. So I have started a website called The Hurricane Watch to do just that, Educate People. I have a whole area just for Teacher resources that can be used in a class room. Theres also areas for people to get togiether and talk about whats going on and to learn from each other! With the help of Hurricanefloyd5 we have our forum up and running and I am hoping to have a full website and forum portal up and running by the end of the week! If you are interesting in joining then please go to the forum at: http://www.getsmf.com/phpbb/?mforum=hurricanewatch
