With gas going up........

have any of the schools close down in your area?I herd something on the news tonight if gas prices go up or a shortage they will have to close down the schools???

Some school district on the West coast here in FL has announced they have 7 days of disel left. They indicated they might quit busing high school students to conserve fuel and make it last 10 days.

Not here yet but, I don't understand our school district.....as most know, I live in the sticks of Az. and to have "Half Days" of school makes NO sense to me??? They pick kids up at 0630 then take "SOME" home at 1100, go back, pick yet ANOTHER load of kids up at 1300.........
