Yippee !! Power is back

#1 Postby BamaMan » Fri Sep 02, 2005 6:03 am

Our power came back on at 2AM this morning. I know thats minor compared to our neighbors to the west, but it sure has been hot. Been getting trees cut up though, and thankfully my family, and all the rest of ours here in Mobile made it through with no major problems except for my nephew. He has been in training for 3 mos, and was to be the manager of the Starbucks at the new Hardrock Cafe in Gulfport. He had just moved into his new apartment across hwy 90 2 weeks ago, and had furnished it with his hard earned money. It's all gone now. Everything, but at least he is okay. He weathered the storm in Baton Rouge with some friends and they are all okay. Glad to be back on the board and to see that alot of our fellow posters are okay.
