It could have formed West of it?

katrina formed west and north of the hebert box.....formed 22.3N and 75.5W. the hebert box is 55-60W and 15-20N.....if, however, you view it as an extension(a stretch) of td# 10, it still missed the box..............rich

I am going to ask a really stupid question right now. What is Herbert Box?

There are 2 actually. One is from 15N-20N and 60W-65W. The other is from 15N-20N and 80W-85W. In the case of the first one, statistically, if a storm passes through or forms in that box, there is a better chance of it hitting south Florida.

IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT... IT PROBABLY DID BECAUSE IT WAS FROM THE REMNANTS OF THE WAVE OF DISINGRATED OLD TD 10 REMEMBER.....

how is it a stretch. TD 10 dies and turns into a wave the northern part goes towards the bahamas and southern end goes south of cuba. How is that stretching it? Sounds pretty simple to me :D
