That's right, Chad... "Weather Central" is great page here at Storm2K, too. I figure we have a running thread here on the latest Severe Weather Watches for discussion. 8-)

Thanks. :D

You know, I've not had anything and the WW is expiring next hour. Let's just hope the quiet prevails, Amanzi.

I stand corrected, they just cancelled the watch for my area. From the NWS:

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH
406 PM EDT THU MAY 15 2003

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR THE TRI-STATE...MIAMI AND
WHITEWATER VALLEYS AND MOST OF CENTRAL OHIO HAS BEEN CLEARED...

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE FOCUSED ALONG AND NEAR THE OHIO
RIVER IN SOUTH CENTRAL OHIO AND NORTHEAST KENTUCKY. THUS THE WATCH
TO THE NORTH AND WEST OF THIS AREA HAS BEEN CLEARED FROM THE
WATCH. BASICALLY...THE WATCH HAS BEEN CLEARED TO THE NORTH AND
WEST OF A LINE FROM MAYSVILLE TO HILLSBORO TO CHILLICOTHE TO
LOGAN. HOWEVER A FEW EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REGION THIS EVENING.

Still look for showers and t-storms, but severe wx is not anticipated tonight.

Wx247, you are absolutely correct. Florence is 12 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio up I-75 northbound.
Chad, I'll send it toward you buddy, you need it. Where is Deltona, Florida? I will be in Daytona Beach on June 15-21.

Here is the radar for that area.

http://weather.noaa.gov/radar/loop/DS.p ... kama.shtml

I see at least one probable hook echo if not two in that mess. I'm so glad that is a sparsely populated area!!
