Beauvoir Destroyed

I'm mentioning this because there was a brief discussion of this last night in another thread. The Jackson Clarion Ledger is reporting that Beauvoir was destroyed. Here is the link:

Thank you for the info, BLHutch. It's heartbreaking, just heartbreaking. A beautiful historic site lost to the ages.

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to tour Beauvoir a few years ago. I vowed to return and now that's impossible. There is a website about Beauvoir for anyone interested.
