Hello from Crestview Florida. It is worst than I ever imagined. This appears to be worst than Camille. During the height of the storm, I was on the cell phone with friends that had sought refuge in the attic from the storm surge. Their house didn't flood during Camille but had at least 3 feet of water in the house at last word before the phone went dead. We are out of our minds with worry.
We feel confident all is lost but the clothes in my car. As soon as I can we will get back to Pass Christian. Please pray for all the people effected by this storm.......MGC

MGC..........
I suffered a total loss from Ivan and I am here to tell you that you are in my thoughts and prayers. You will make it through! Have faith and be grateful for the lives that were spared. I have been in your shoes and I know that hopeless, helpless feeling. Stand tough my friend. Many prayers for you!!!!

My prayers are with you also but...
my advice is to stay put. Unless you need to go in after someone to bring out you shouldn't go in. You will be placing both yourself and those who might have to rescue you in danger. In any case, I believe most people are being prevented from entering. If you have lost everything but your life you are one of the lucky ones..God was watching over you. If you haven't lost everything else, it will be there when you get back. Give it a few days. We prayer worriors need that much time.

MGC!!!! Thank God you are ok!!! You are right up the road from my mother in Niceville. If you need something let me know and I will see if we can be of help. I too would advise you to stay put until you hear word it is ok to return. Prayers have been and will continue to flow for you, yours, and all affected by this horrendous tragedy.
