fools on CNN

anyone seeing this tornado damage in Helen, GA?

then the meterologist on CNN says "I think it was straight line winds"

*rolls eyes*

what else would it have been but a tornado in Georgia?

I saw that too. Also saw 1000s of dead chickens.

There were very strong storms going through there. Could have been straight line winds. Who knows till the NWS looks at it.

He said he didn't know! Calm down, some of the damage looks like tornado possibly, some like straight line winds. Geez, quick to assumptions you are.

straight line winds would have had to be on the order of 130-160+ mph to cause the damage. on top of that, some buildings were untouched, while others were decimated.

It was defintely a tornado... the winds in Georgia from the squalls were no more than 40-50 mph...

I heard 200,000!(someone please tell me that's a mistake) chickens killed... :eek:

Yes there can be hundreds of thousands of chickens in one chicken house.

KFC might have to serve burgers for a while in Georgia.
