Will New Orleans get money now to increase the levee?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Will New Orleans get money now to increase the levee?

The Mississippi River levee is 25 feet tall. The Lake Poncatrain Hurricane Protection Levee is only 15 feet tall. If the Lake Poncatrain Levee was 25 feet tall that should be enough to withstand most Cat 4 storms.

I think it should be done considering how much the U.S. gets out of Louisana in oil and natural gas resources.
