Damage in Mobile

#1 Postby baygirl_1 » Mon Aug 29, 2005 5:18 pm

I've been talking to family and friends in Mobile and they tell me damage is comparable to Frederic. My neighbor called to tell me my chimney blew off and there's a gaping hole in my roof. At present, trying to get sister and family over there to check it out and make any temp. repairs, but with the curfew in effect I'm not sure what they can do. Unbelievable is all I can say right now.

Thanks, y'all. Just checking in again after talking with folks down there. So much damage. And the stories coming out of our next door neighbors in MS are just heartbreaking.
