Tornado watch as far over as Tallahassee

#1 Postby therealashe » Mon Aug 29, 2005 11:21 am

We're getting wind and rain from the outer bands here. Not tropical storm force, but still fairly gusty. Currently, they are being reported as SSE at 17 mph gusting to 33 mph. Tornado watch is until 8pm.

As I'm watching the coverage, I'm thankful we're in the clear, but feeling very sad for those in LA, MS and AL.

Tornado Watches reach all the way into the southern Atlanta suburbs.

Long evening/night ahead... new tornado warning in the county south of here. Second one in an hour. Fun.
