 I'm sorry.. I know this really isn't funny.. But the way it came across.. it sounds like they say it like it's another day at the office

Today: Occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High around 82. Windy, with a south wind 100 to 105 mph becoming southwest 65 to 70 mph. Winds could gust as high as 145 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Ho Hum......

And tomorrow's forecast is for armageddon.

Extended outlook:
Possible nuclear war next week. Models are still a bit divided on this so for now we will only keep probability at climatological; about 40%.

I love how they treat the 105 mph winds like those are winds that happen every day

Computer generated forecast. 10 mph, 100 mph, 1000 mph, all the same to the weath-o-matic.
