Wave Height at 47 feet, then it didn't report a wave height during its latest report... Dern...
How high a wave can these things record?

other buoys failing
If I'm not mistaken, that buoy has come un-moored (one of them in the area of the MS River delta has an alert notice saying that happened today). Two other land-based locaitons -- Grand Isle and one other to the SE -- look like they failed earlier this morning a few hours before the eye made landfall. Now, I can't even get the NDBC web page to load. So I guess that tells you all you need to know. Scary
