New Orleans is getting hammered by the outter bands right now. The storm surge may be on top of 9 - 12 inches of rain! New Orleans is feeling Katrina at this hour.

I can tell theres a hurricane out there, because the wind has picked up here in Lafayette a bit over the last few minutes. Its a very eerie feeling outside. A monster brewing out in the gulf.. :(
