That Kat is going through an ERC. Is he smoking crack or am I clueless??

I wouldn't quite call it an ERC, but whatever it is, it's having the same effects. Also, the eye is expanding slightly and is now 28nm. Expanding isn't quite what happens in an ERC, but it does show weakening as opposed to a tightening eye and strengthening system. Plus, what would be the size of the eye aroun the 28nm one? It'd be interesting to see that monster pop out.

I think you would be right. some don't know that a large hurrican like this will lose some of it's winds for a few hours but will get them back.
