Made it to my evacuation route safely
Hey, everybody. I made it to my evacuation place safely. I am staying at my aunt and uncle's home in Ville Platte. North of Lafayette, well inland. Don't know how long it will be before we can travel home. I am very worried we won't have anything to come home to. But, your things can always be replaced, your life can't. This is my very first time we ever evacuated before. We used to always ride them out. My uncle, granparents and cousin are also staying here. They just left from their home on the MS coast near Picayune which is just over the MS/LA line. Thank goodness for Storm2K, so I keep up to dated what is going on at my home. I am very worried about my other grandpa. He is 83-years old and won't leave his home in Thibodaux. Even though there is a mandatory evacuation for all of Lafourche Parish. Another aunt and uncle of mine and my nanny are also staying with him. They refuse to let him ride out the storm by himself.
