Yep, hit that last point perfectly....couldn't have drawn it any better. Looks like she'll have to move NW to hit that next one. The NHC's got this one pegged.

At minimum New Orleans should take a hard west core.

If Katrina went straight north from here, it would hit just west of Mobile.

The storm has curved slightly more and could just miss New Orleans east, but most likely it will wobble west again and stay right on track for New Orleans hit.


Do the coords. Katrina needs very little more west for guaranteed New Orleans hit.

190mph 890's not out of possibility...

No wonder you are looking for a NNW jog, of for that matter any jog away from you.
