This is a good place to insert this" I hope all of you who thought we pro-mets were hyping this storm yesterday will get out now....hopefully the point has been made.

Did anyone hear the part of the news conference where the mayor said any police officer could commandeer buildings or vehicles deemed necessary to ensure the safety of people? I've never heard anything like that before.

It's not unsual, I've been involved with a situation like that, we had orders to do WHATEVER was needed, period!!

This is a GOOD thing, it's too bad people don't listen, ah well........

She's sitting just a tad north of Lake Ponch. I don't think that's a very good place to ride Kat. out. Do you?

Want people out of NOLA say this: If you stay in your home along the river and levee, and you will die. Understand you are comitting suicide you and others who want to stay, do the smart thing a save your life.
