In New Orleans...The press conference has been delayed until after 9am. GOD help New Orleans!!!!!!

They have around 12 hours before conditions begin to deteriorate the window is closing fast and may already be too late.

What does a mandatory evac really mean in the end? If you have 100-150k people who do not have the means to leave, then the City will bear the responsibility for getting those people somewhere and where do you take them? How do you get them there? In essence, how do you fully evacuate a major urban city? At best, this would be more PC than practical. They got a problem down there and I don't wish to be in any of their shoes right now in trying to figure all this out...

Did you hear the part where he said any government employee, police officer etc can commandeer any private property deemed necessary to ensure the safety of the people, buildings, and vehicles included! Wow.
