155 or 150, this is it, the real thing. I can't believe this is happening honestly. This may very well be the worst natural disaster our country has ever seen. If this thing does hit NOLA, I'm not sure it will ever be the same again. Those who think it's going to bounce back right away don't really know what this storm can do. No to be cruel to others, but I seriously hope this storm turns a little sharper to go well east of NOLA, that would spare hundreds (if not more) lives.

OMG!!! I never thought this would happen again in my lifetime!!
This Is Camille all over again!! I went through her and now looks like I will possibly have to endure anoter cat 5 hurricane.THE MONSTER IS COMING!!!

You're right. Gulfport is in as much danger, if not more so as NOLA yet everyone is focussing on NOLA and foregetting the locations just to the east like Biloxi and Gulfport.

They are mentioning coastal MS on the NOLA stations and they are in alot of danger. This storm is HUGE and will not only impact 1 or 2 cities, more like 2 to 3 states (Alabama). I hope MS residents are not complacent about this, it's very serious *(that's the understatement of the century).

I wsih that the news people would remind all that the cone includes locations that could be within 65 miles of center, not just hurricane force winds.

When I pulled up the satellite pic this morning, Katrina looked to me a lot like Floyd did when he was passing through the Bahamas in '99. Big and mean. This will be a catastrophe for the coast and probably create a disaster zone all the way up to the Northeast from the flooding.

Anyone in the location: LA, MS, AL, and FL could be in the danger zone. I know right now it is going toward Louisiana but I can't stop think about Ivan and Dennis which both turned at the last minute before making landfall. Especially Ivan. I think we all need to be prepare and pray for those who are going to be effected by this monster.

Food for thought gang. The waters of LA this time aren't cooler, they are warmer (actually HOTTER) than where the storms are now. WWL-TV was worrying about this last night as the SST's are in the low 90's right off the coast.

I'm praying for those people.
