2 motel rooms in Hattisbury available

#1 Postby jes » Sat Aug 27, 2005 10:49 pm

I'm in Mobile and made motel reservations - 2 rooms - in Hattisbury a couple of days ago when Katrina appeared to be headed for the Florida panhandle. Obviously now I think I'll be just as safe at home so would like one of the storm 2K members to have the rooms. I don't know how we can do it --- I thought maybe we could get on the phone 3 way and as I cancel my reservations the motel could book yours since you would also be on the phone. Let me know if you would like the reservations --- I'll be cancelliing them in the morning.

We still have plenty of rooms available along Highway 14 in Vermilion Parish (Abbeville, Kaplan area). Close spots for the return home after all is said and done.

That would be too close to the gulf if for some reason Katrina doesn't turn to the north soon enough. I wouldn't count on a firect eye hit, but Vermillion Parish wouldn't be my first stop at thi s time .
