Tip was bigger than the whole Gulf. If it were that big, then we would have warnings from Charleston to Belieze, or something like that.

still got a while to go before she is as large as Floyd
at his peak
Hurricane winds extended 115 miles from his center
Tropical Storm winds extended 260 miles from his center
at per the 5 pm advisory
Katrina was
Hurricane winds extended 45 miles from her center
Tropical Storm winds extended 160 miles from her center

Local news says she is about 500 miles in width.
Her expanding is being overlook compared to her windspeed. Could she grow to 750 or even 800 miles?
