Getting kicked off or having problems with pages?

#1 Postby WindRunner » Sat Aug 27, 2005 2:46 pm

I notice that about every 10-15 min, the site will get extremely bogged down. I go away, and three minutes later I come back and everything is fine and there are 6 people on the site, which quickly grows over 150. Is anyone else seeing this occur, or am I a special case here?

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't my end of the connection messing up.

Me to! It will be due to many people on the site and the Bandwith/servers of the site isn't adequate to cope with traffic! I know they expanded it after Jeanne/Frances and Ivan last year....

That was my first thought too, but that's because of the frequency at which my connection does break.

EDIT: LOL, just as I sent this message it happened again.

There's just too many people.

Not like that's a bad thing. :D

We're doing everything we can to keep the server running smoothly. One of the problems today was caused by a configuration file that was set to limit connections to 256. Please be patient whe it slows down and do not keep hitting refresh. That only makes the situation worse.
