Wow, that really shows 97 firing up and also shows a rather impressive wave about to come off. I wonder if that'll be somebody's Labor Day storm . . . hmmmm . . .

97L has a well defined LLC with convection over most of the LLC. There is no reason why theres no advisory based quickscats. This is going to hurt our record.

Is 97 the one in the middle of the ocean? The one on the left in the picture referenced in the first post in this thread?

Is that predicted to become a fish?

yes, 97 more than likely will be a fish(thank god) due to it's position, but the one coming off of Africa may not be, but much too early to say. Looks like we are in full throttle now!

I've had my excitement for the season, thankyouverymuch. 3 hurricanes in 13 months is/was PLENTY.

You act like this "record" is so important. :D I don't really care much what they do with this now. We've got Katrina to watch.
