Fuel in the Panhandle

Just wanted to let folks know that in the FWB and Niceville areas, when fuel is available, it's often only premium....

When Dennis came through, we seemed to have the best luck at the no-name place on Hwy 20 just on the Seminole side of Bluewater. I think people tend to forget it's there because not as many people are on the road west of White Point Rd.

I think the whole base took off at lunch to fill up! The credit card portion of the pumps at the shoppette on base are not working either. Took a guy in our office 40 minutes to get gas there.

I went grocery shopping and to the bank this morning, noticed lines were already forming at the gas stations. I went ahead and filled up my gas cans and my car, I figure by doing this early, the storm will certainly not come here. :eek: :lol:
