olddude......yah, pressure falling like a rock......the panhandle should just be named a permanent disaster area and they calll the keys a risky place

The Keys are risky because they are surrounded by water and a Cat 3 or 4 surge would destroy the area...

Just spoke to my father...said some serious flooding happening in his part of KW (Northside Drive area).


That's behind Searstown, right?

oh yes, intiimately in tune with the storm surge atlas and my elevation (6') 8-) ...was just referring to the bullseye over the panhandle this year and last.l.........riclh

that area around north roosevelt and searstown has just doesnt drain.....not sure why

sure would be nice to have the tortugas c-man site back up again....only two months overdue....the fort is going to get hit a lot worse than kw if the track remains 265...this will mark the third time this year with a close approach to the fort....the station DRYF has been down since charley last year

My oldest daughter used to play softball there. I agree, lousy drainage.

Just in - 12,000 without power. A tornado touchdown is what caused damage at Marathon airport.

Big Pine Key cable is out now.
