This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

West trend in models?

#1 Postby mobilebay » Thu Aug 25, 2005 11:21 pm

The 00Z GFS has wen't westwerd with landfall around Destin. In my opinion the GFDL and and BAMM models will probably slide more west. This may get interesting. Can't wait for the rest of the 00Z models to come out.

There is no trend yet. Models have been shifting back and forth throughout the day. But I do believe it will be further west than what was originally predicted.

I think we will see many shifts back and fourth, we still have atleast 3-4 days before landfall.
