2nd Center Forming?
http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT ... -loop.html I don't know if this is what I am Looking at but it seems to show a 2nd center forming to the S of the strongest convection. Am I wrong? Just an amature....Thanks

Looks like a dry slot. The center of circulation seems to be almost due east of Ft. Lauderdale as plotted on Miami NWS radar.

Second centers don't form in stronger tropical systems. In order for a second center to form...the system needs to have a very weak low level center...and it needs to be a broad diffuse circulation with ceonvection on one side or quadrant only...unless it's really a broad circulation.
Once a system gets an inner core and has banding features...then it won't form another center. It may jog in one direction or another...but the vorticity and shear within the system is enough to keep it from totally reforming somewhere else. Generally once they make TS status...there won't be any center reformations unless it is a real weak TS and it's lopsided.
