Bob Breck

just gave his evening update said that there is a lot of uncertainty in the forecast of this storm. Still shows the Vipir moving it up the east florida coast.

I think his Viper is broke. NHCWX just said on thier radio show that a definite westward motion has been established. Unless there's something that's gonna pull here immeditely north, the east coast seems highly unlikely.

"VIPIR" is great for real time radar analysis, especially during severe weather, but, from what I've heard, not too great with its model data at a very long range.

Have a VIPIR system here in my market, but they don't have the full integrated model suite with it so I've never personally seen that aspect of it.

I've read on the website where they say the VIPIR system is versatile, definitely looks that way to me!

The only way she would go up the east coast of Florida is if she stalled 'til friday nite and let the ridge pass out to the east. Ain't gonna happen (i don't think) :roll:

Well, Bob has came to his senses and now changed his tune. He said that the path with this storm is uncertain and for SE Louisiana not to let their guard down just yet.
