Well unless you are DIRECTLY hit by a minimal hurricane (which is the most Katrina would be at landfall) then I don't think boarding up would be very useful... but if it makes you feel better, go right ahead.

A big time drop...sort of like that storm on this date 13 years ago. What was the name.....oh yes...Andrew.

Take a look at the 1:02UTC EIR image....a very nice blow up of colder cloud tops right over the center. Also...latest radar images show a nice eastern "eyewall" trying to develop. I hate to say "eyewall" but you all know what I mean.
