Why? Because expect conditions to be worse in Palm Beach (at least southern county) than last year with Frances and Jeanne, remember those storms?

This is the biggest load of BS I have ever seen. Every single county around is closing schools(Broward,Miami,St Lucie). We are the highest probability to get hit. This is going to be a hurricane that will hit tomorrow night. School will definitely be closed tomorrow.

Not that it will make any difference, but I wrote an e-mail to Dr. Art Johnson, the superintendant of PBC schools. Saying how dumb it is that they aren't closing schools tomorrow...especially when the counties around it are closing.

For once my brother thinks I'm brilliant, thanks to S2K;)

He got my email right about the long weekend before he got this at work - Broward County

Per Dr. Till, the School District is closed tomorrow and Friday.
Your Director will let you know if you need to report tomorrow morning for
emergency preparations.

LOL... don't you hate when that happens???

If they said "will be open" then the decision has already been made... not "we're looking into it" as in Friday's case.

For some evil reason I hope this bombs over the Gulf Stream and increases speed and lands during school hours as a strong Cat 2. Would give the school board something to think about.
