Latest fix shows it moved at 292...which is WNW. Think it will be more westerly next time...looks like the LLC and the MLC are getting together and the LLC is becoming better defined.

The storm has perfect shape to it with outflow. It kind of reminds me of Jeanne before it went nuts. I expect a blow up/Cdo to form later tonight. This thing as it is turning back was could get very interesting.

Its already starting to form deep convection over the dry slot. This is going to get interesting now.

Latest recon says Katrina has a ragged eyewall.

I guess sanibel won't be wearing those pokey-dots now will she.

I'm not seeing a CLOSED eye... But the center is VERY obvious, and this is quite possibly the best-looking TS i've seen in years.

Katrina is looking a lot better now... she had me confused when she spat out that convection... nice center burst right now

She is the best ts ive seen in a very very long time. Looks classic. Looks nice. If she had another 48-72 hrs out there no doubt this would be crazy. Ill be on the east coast AGAIN. Getting minimal effects.
