Any word on if there will be mandatory evacuations if we get a Hurricane Warning tonight?

Persons need to heed advice from local OEM's in the watch and warning area. If told to evacuate do so.
Residents should make preparations for 1 category stronger than forecast in this case a weak category 2. Most OEM's err on this side of caution incase unexpected intensification occurs.
Excessive rainfall appears the main threat at this time with minor to moderate wind damage along the beach front. Rainfall amounts of 10-15 inches with isolated amounts upwards of 20 inches will be possible.
Numerous NWS offices have hydro outlooks posted for various rivers over S and C FL. Significant inland flooding is likely. This threat is almost always overlooked by those in the path of such storms, yet ends up being the greatest killer.
