I just checked the PBC School Board web site which said schools are open tomorrow although all after school activities are cancelled. They will have a decision on Friday no later than tomorrow morning. Lets see if my teenage son tries to pull the wool over my eyes when I get home tonight.

FWIW, the Town of Jupiter will be open tomorrow but no decision has yet been made about Friday.

Thats odd. I heard from friends who have parents working in the district saying that schools would be closed. And how on earth would schools be open?? A potential 70 kt hurricane is coming and conditions would be getting pretty bad tomorrow. There is no way schools will be open IMO.

I am SHOCKED that Broward would be closed and Palm Beach open!
The effects here should be about equal to Broward.

Of course, if a Hurricane Warning were to be issued tonight; as suggested in the 5 PM advisory:
A Hurricane Warning will likely be issued for portions of the
Hurricane Watch area later this evening.

Then I would think that Palm Beach County would then close the schools for Thursday by midnight.

I doubt that our kids will have school tomorrow in Palm Beach.
If a warning is issued at 11 AM tomorrow then they would close early and the mess we had last year would occur again...
