It all depends on how far west in the gulf it goes
the further west the stronger especially near central Lousiana where water temps are near 95 right before the coast
as long as sheer and dry air stay away we might see EXTREMELY rapid deepening before landfall there
Katrina not a major hurricane threat, why?
