EXTENDED FORECAST DISCUSSION
NWS HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL PREDICTION CENTER CAMP SPRINGS MD
111 PM EDT MON AUG 22 2005
VALID 12Z THU AUG 25 2005 - 12Z MON AUG 29 2005
TROPICAL SYSTEM SHOULD DRIFT WWD AND
EVENTUALLY NWWD ACROSS THE GULF OF MEXICO DURING THE PD...AS PER
COORDINATION WITH ECMWF.
ERN US...
DISSIPATING COLD FRONT WILL PUSH A BAND OF CONVECTION THRU THE MID
ATL AND NORTHEAST DAYS 6 AND 7. MOISTURE WILL SPREAD INTO MUCH OF
THE SOUTHEAST FROM THE ATL DURING THE SECOND HALF OF THE PD...WITH
FL BEARING THE BRUNT OF THE RAINFALL THROUGHOUT THE PD AS TROPICAL
SYSTEM DRIFTS WWD ACROSS THE PENINSULA INTO THE GULF.

I think the recent blow up of TD 11 in less than 36hrs (correct me if Im wrong) really woke some people up....

Well...I think they always schedule tentative 6 hours fixes IF they find something....but this wave has a chance at being a player in a few days.
