What the?

#1 Postby DESTRUCTION5 » Sun Aug 21, 2005 6:43 am

Ok so the early models show a fish (which will change 100 times)in the CMC and GFS but what the heck do they see off the SW coast of Fl by day 5? CMC has a huricane forming out or about the keys...

Strangely that is the remnant of TD 10 that the CMC bombs from day 4 to 5

For kicks check out the 384 hr GFS from the 00z run

If I read that right, it shows a low pressure system moving across Florida into the Gulf next weekend? Maybe not?

Of course the 06z run already has a different solution. It was just for fun.

The European 0zrun has a (substantially weaker) low over SFL at the same timepoint, so there's some reason to keep an eye out for this possibility.

It looks to me like both models have it as a feature which comes north out of the eastern Carribean towards SFL and/or the eastern Gulf.

I don't want to start a new thread, but is that possibly Rainstorm's Carolina system bursting off South Carolina right now...
