No I dont have other models solutions but I know that other members will post those however I saw the 12z GFS initial plots and had it intensifying but moving as a fish.

TROPICAL WAVE ALONG 17W/18W SOUTH OF 23N MOVING WEST 10 TO 15 KT.
IT APPEARS THAT A SURGE OF DUST IS EAST OF AN ARC OF CLOUDS
ALONG THE LINE 28N13W 25N20W 20N23W 14N20W. A 1011 MB LOW
PRESSURE CENTER IS NEAR 18N ALONG THE WAVE. STRONG SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE SOUTH OF THE LOW CENTER FROM 13N TO 14N
BETWEEN 17W AND 18W...AND MORE SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTER FROM 10N
TO 13N BETWEEN 19W AND 24W.

The above from the discussion at 2:05 PM.Nothing there that is impressive in that statement.

Well, even if the models are taking the wave to be a fish, at least we will have SOMETHING to look at it as it moves out to sea. I'm absolutely shocked that the latest TWO didn't mention this wave as it's the best wave I've seen in a long time. You'd think they would at least mention it.

I actually think it's flat out wrong. They're focused on a convectionless swirl at 18N; there's actually a swirl within the convection to the south.

If they don't mention this in the next TWO, then they are blind.

Beats me.

TWDs routinely get corrected by the next person (Rhome especially). Even outside of the infamous Formosa they're not infallible guides to reality.

best satellite link for East Atlantic waves which updates frequently??

The only satellite I've seen for the east Atlantic updates every 3 hours. Anyone have a link to one which updates more often?

Thanx in advance!

Yeah you can use the Navy's NRL site. I have a link posted at the bottom. By the way you wouldnt happen to be using the NESDIS satellite loops? I believ those are the ones that update the African coast satellite every 3 hours.

I think that one updates about every 15 minutes or so. I dont really use that one alot despite the fact that its good. I dont really use it cause the loops are so slow and you have to click on the loop speed button like 10 times to really speed it up and thats annoying to me. But in terms of updates, it is the best one. The one I use updates ever 30 minutes which is doable enough for me.

the only thing about these is that I can't see the cold colored cloud tops like with the weather channel satellite images or like the ones you see on the floaters, but I guess I can't have the best of both worlds :)
